VASAVI SHARADA HOSTEL which was inaugurated on 28th Oct. 2001. It is the dream child of our philanthropist Late Sri B.S.Lakshminarayana Setty. But for his munificent contribution of Rs. 25 lakhs, Vasavi Sharada Hostel would not have materialized. His contribution gave the needed impetus. He had the vision, generosity and nobility which is rare. Vasavi Sharada Hostel has been providing admission to 48 girls Students.
This report will be incomplete without mentioning the incessant and indefatigable efforts of our Senior Vice President Sri Manandi Nanjunda Setty. Imagine a person of 80 years young overseeing all alterations, additions, and equipping the Hostel with all modern facilities within a record time of 6 months working nearly 8 to 10 hours a day at the Hostel Premises. He shouldered the responsibility for the entire project single handedly with devotion and determination to make this project a success. He used his extensive contacts and convinced like-minded people and obtained promises of Rs 1 Crore and 50 Lakhs and meticulously followed up such promises. He has so far collected Rs.97 lakhs and is confident of collecting the balance assured amount in the coming months, efficiently assisted by our ever active Secretary General Sri C.R.Jayachandra Setty who has put his head and heart for the project’s reverberating success.

Soundaryavalli BLS Murthy and Ananthalakshmamma M.Krishnaiah Setty Hostel which was inaugurated on 15th August 2008. Another significant achievement is providing accommodation for 16 girls, prosecuting higher studies. Sri M. Krishnaiah Setty had created a Trust bequeathing ground and second floors of the outhouse and the first floor was bequeathed to his foster daughter. Sri B.L.S.Murthy our President contributed Rs 10 Lakhs to our Trust so that the first floor portion may be acquired by the Trust. The trust purchased the property (to establish Hostel). The result is Smt. Soundryavalli BLS Murthy and Ananthalakshmamma M.Krishniah Setty Free Hostle came into existence in 10th Cross, 2nd Block, Jayanagar, Bangalore. Equipments costing about Rs 5 Lakhs were contributed by Smt Bramramba Dr K.S.Sriram Charitable Foundation. Sri M.N.Sathyam, took responsibility for renovation and commendably achieved it.16 girls are accommodated in the said Hostel. The food is arranged from Vasavi Sharada Hostel Sri .B.L.S.Murthy Seva Foundation Supplements the hostel expenses.
