Karnataka Arya Vysya Charitable Trust, a state level organization, has been striving for upliftment of our society since more than 4 decades. Amongst various service activities, it has been pioneering the cause of education by granting scholarships to the most deserving students for successfully pursuing higher education in the State of Karnataka translating their dreams into reality. The ultimate objective is to ensure one graduate in every most deserving family by 2025, so that he/she shall take care of the family with decent living conditions in years to come, in the sojourn of their lives

The Board of Trustees of KAVC TRUST places on record their deep appreciation for the contributions and active participations of 205 donor families and institutions in the Scholarship Distribution Function held on 27th November 2016 at NMKRV COLLEGE GROUNDS and distribution of cheques to the beneficiaries directly by the donors apart from interaction with the Recipient students to understand their real financial problems. Your contribution and participation with involvement as a team will surely be an example and inspiration to many philanthropists to extend their support during the current financial year also.

FUNDS REQUIRED:

In our estimate 1250 students may seek scholarship during the current financial year 2017- 18 and the Trust will require a huge sum of 150 lakhs to distribute the scholarships to the needy and deserving students.

CORPUS DONATION TOWARDS SCHOLARSHIP FUND:

There will be separate Endowments Fund in the Trust in the name of Donor or any person in whose memory the Donor wants to perpetuate by contributing a sum of Rs 3.50 lakhs and above to the Corpus of the Endowment.
Only the interest derived from the corpus fund will be utilized towards distribution of scholarship to the students

VERIFICATION PROCESS:

Relevant information furnished by the Students in the application seeking Scholarships will be verified by a team of dedicated persons as to their economic background apart from conducting personal interviews of all the students at Bangalore City before awarding Scholarships.

HIGHLIGHTS OF SCHOLARSHIP PROJECTS

The Trust was able to distribute scholarships more than 580 lakhs to nearly 7900 students during the last 9 years from 2008 to 2016 with the support of donors and corporates such as GMR Varalakshmi Foundation, Lakshmi Vilas Bank Ltd & Bramaramba Dr. K.S. Sriram Charitable Foundation who have contributed significantly to provide scholarships to the students in the State of Karnataka

It is proposed by scholarship committee of KAVC Trust to extend financial assistance to students of Karnataka State who are in need and deserving and who are preparing for Competitive Examinations like IAS (finals) or who have secured top ranks in CET / CAT other Competitive Examinations.

APPEAL

May we have the privilege to appeal to your good selves to kindly contribute in multiples of Rs 25,000/- and above every year or one time Corpus Donation of Rs 3.5 Lakhs or more for Endowment for this very Noble cause. Donations are exempted under section 80G of Income Tax Act. Cheques/ Demand drafts shall be drawn in favour of Karnataka Arya Vysya Charitable Trust or ( KAVC Trust, Bangalore) and you can call on us to collect your generous Contribution.
